Great features, wonderful size. I've baked brownies in a 9x13-inch pan (without handles); results were excellent. One reviewer wrote that there's no count-down feature for time left to cook -- really, there is. During baking time, the display alternately shows the oven temperature and the time left to cook, in minutes. The display switches info every second or two, and that's not bad. I've had my oven just a few weeks and am thrilled with it. We save energy by using a countertop oven, as opposed to a regular big oven, and the room stays cool. It preheats very quickly, which surprised me. I'm actually cooking more now, since it's so easy (and much faster) to make and serve a casserole, or bake a dessert or muffins. The roomy interior was a huge selling point for me. The removable oven rack can go into four different positions - the rack is inverted for two of those positions, so food can be placed closer to the heating elements or farther away. The "ready" signal is loud enough to be heard in the next room, which is a big plus feature. It beeps when it has preheated to the proper temperature, and it beeps when the cooking is done. Bottom line: I'm lovin' this oven!

This toaster is awesome. It toasts everything I want it to. I don't use any of the other features really though. I have an oven, but for little things this toaster is awesome. Easy to clean tray and a very solid unit. I would be careful with putting stuff on top because it gets HOT, but as long as you are aware of that fact you will be fine. Live in a house with 6 people, so need a BIG toaster and this fits the bill. I also know other people that own it and they are very satisfied.

Like the first reviewer, we also had a bad experience with a lesser model from Black & Decker and were afraid to try another one. Finding her review permitted us to take a chance and boy are we glad we did. This oven has completely lived up to all of its specs: fits a 12" pizza without issue, is great for chicken breasts and breakfast meats, actually toasts toast, and doesnt heat up the whole house like the full size oven. We are particularly happy with how well it does frozen items like tots so quickly with the convection oven. It is very easy to use, but like the original reviewer said it is very loud. It would be great to be able to disable or turn down the audible alarms, but this small thing is well worth dealing with compared to how well it works. We highly recommend this to any family. It is being used nearly every day and we have had it for 3 months now.
It should be noted that the outside does get quite hot, so care has to be taken when this is in reach of a young one. However, from the research we have done, it seems that most of these small tosters do get hot. To avoid this, it seems one has to spend considerably more money.

We have had B&D ovens for years and bought this one to replace the B&D Dine-in Model that we loved. This oven gets so hot on the handle and on the outside I can't believe it is on the market. Today I burnt my finger on the handle. DO NOT BUY THIS OVEN. Aside from that it is difficult to use as you have to set the temp, then time, then hit start all before the oven thinks you have changed your mind and shuts down. I regret buying this oven.

I have owned this oven for 3 months now after our 12 yr old Cuisinart died. I chose Black & Decker because it would hold a 9x13 pan and 6 pieces of toast, and was half the price of a new Cuisinart. We use this oven for baking or toasting every day. I have never broiled meat in it, but it broils vegetables just fine. It toasts okay and bakes evenly. If you bake in a large pan you need to turn it around half-way through the baking time. Cakes, brownies, chicken, pork chops, casseroles, etc. come out just fine.
The oven has a crumb tray that pulls out from the front. The cooking rack can be adjusted in 4 different positions. The door handle stays cool even if the oven has been on for 1+ hours. The convection fan is much quieter than our old Cuisinart. The oven is only 2 inches longer than our old Cuisinart and the depth and height are the same. So you get a much larger cooking space for the same footprint. It comes with a nice heavy 9x12 pan and round pizza pan. Being able to use the toaster oven with a large pan(instead of the large range) is a blessing in our southern summer heat.
Now for the not so good... The control buttons are flimsy, cheap plastic. They sit crooked and feel wobbly when you press them. And every time you press a button it beeps VERY LOUDLY. This oven is very complicated to use. You have to press multiple buttons every time you use it. To convection bake you must press Bake, Conv, Temp (to adjust) and then Start. Only after the oven preheats can you set the timer. You can't use it without setting the timer. If you do, it remembers the amount of time used during its last cycle and will only stay on for that long. To toast you must press Toast, Temp (to adjust) and then Start. The toaster's timer is pre-programmed by temp.
The exterior of this appliance is not stainless. I don't know what it is. I set a warm pie plate on top and now the oven is marked with black streaks that will not clean off. The interior is slick black metal, I think. The rack seems to be stainless. I don't think the included pans are stainless. This oven will truly hold a 9x13 pan if it does not have handles. Although advertised to hold a 12-inch pizza, it will not hold our 12-inch pizza stone. The oven's highest bake temp is 450 degrees.
I expected more quality for the price. This oven should have cost $45 tops. When it breaks, and I'm sure it will within the first year - I'm going to buy a Cuisinart. I've learned it's worth the extra money to get quality, ease of use, and reliability.
