 "Pizza Heaven" 2009-07-19

We love this oven and use it for pizza, toasting, and warm-ups. Heats up to a very hot temperature and heats evenly. Nice quality. I love that the glass door closes without slamming like our previous oven. Totally worth the money.

"Not so great Pizza Oven" 2009-05-22
By Jacqueline Gorecki (Malden, MA USA)
I am completely upset with this purchase. It was defective when it came to my house. I have another oven that is 5+ years older and it works much better. I know amazon can do much better than this oven. However, there are other purchases I made at amazon, and I could not be any happier!

 "Be Careful" 2009-01-27
By Crystal Vision (Bayside, NY United States)
I purchased this as a toaster oven which is apparently where I went wrong. The setting for toast, for whatever reason, is difficult to see, but once you know where it is, it's doable - but why make it hard on the eyes? A piece of toast fell on the heating coil (while I was foolish enough to leave the boyfriend in charge of waffle preparation) and rather than unplug the unit, he just left it there. Well, that was the end of the toaster oven. After unplugging the toaster and removing the resulting charcoal, and allowing sufficient cool down time (2 days), when I again plugged in the toaster it immediately super-heated (for lack of a better phrase) and would not turn off. So off to the recycle center it went. Since I never used the oven for anything other than toasting, I can't rate it on any baking use. It's just a shame, that's all.

"Would like to give it 6 stars." 2008-12-09

Has 3" of vertical space above the rack.

Let's say a large chicken breast wrapped in alum foil is almost 3 inches thick and reaches up close to the top where the burner is. But nevertheless it bakes perfectly! For a quick Dennys stew I wrapped baking potato, onion, and carrot in with a microwave thawed chicken breast (or stewing beef chunks). Set at 450, "STAY ON", for hour + 15 minutes for extra long/very well done.

Timing/temperatures matches the range oven exactly.

Pizza is tasty crisp, unlike a soggy microwave pie.

Buy a 12" x 12" six cup muffin tray and it will fit in there and work fine.

Crumb tray slides out below.

Used in our house almost every single day for 2 years. Probably last another 10, it is simple mechanically.

 "VERY GOOD" 2008-11-25
By R. Tolliver
I bought this oven to save money on my gas bill. When I read it would hold a full size pizza, I had my reservations...,but it does. This is a good little oven. I wish it had some type of insulation so it wouldn't get so hot on the outside. Glad I bought it.
