"Fits Nordic Ware Quarter Pan Perfectly" 2009-06-29
By WanderingStar (Wherever I Park It)
I use my propane conventional oven in my RV alot since I prefer boondocking and love cooking.

I use a Nordic Ware Quarter pan in my small RV oven and this mat fits my pan perfectly. Nothing sticks to this mat and it is easy to clean. It rolls up for easy storage and can be placed in an empty paper towel tube and stored in a drawer.

I would suggest getting two, one for sweet and one for savory to prevent any lingering taste being carried over to other baked goods.

 "AWESOME! " 2008-12-28
By Melanie Becwar (Fairbanks, Alaska)
My husband and I own four large silpat mats and use them all the time. Anything that goes in the oven on a cookie sheet goes in on these. I asked for this for Christmas and was thrilled to get it! I make freezer cookie dough that you can slice and bake, and when I want a cookie, I cut a slice, put it on my toaster silpat and bake. PERFECT! I've done onion rings, cookies, chicken, pretty much anything on this. My only concern is that I don't recall ever seeing any discolorations appear on the large silpats and I noticed that there were a few yellowed areas today after use. I am wondering if I overdid it and accidentally toasted too high a temp. Since I think this is a user error, I'm still giving it five stars. I've NEVER had a problem with any of our other mats.

 "Damaged Goods" 2008-12-22
By Kay Archer (Longview, WA United States)
The Silpat arrived with a large blemish on what I assume to be the bottom. The smooth plastic coating looked like it ran when applied and did not cover the interior mesh.

"Thought is wasn't great, but is!" 2008-12-16
By Sharon Perkins (Cordele,, GA USA)
I thought this Silpat was to be placed in the bottom of the toaster oven to catch butter, cheese, etc. spills. I put it there anyway, and yes, it caught the spills, but some of 'um just went down and underneath the Silpat, and onto the aluminum tray. NOT GOOD! So, I looked in through my supply of cookie sheets and found one that this small Silpat would fit. Then I baked cookies. Oh, the cookies came out great. No burnt bottoms or edges. More like a bakery. I made "trash" and it never burned either. This is a fantastic kitchen tool. I would like to have one for all my cookie sheets.
